What's your story?
What is your personal story? You know, how you came to be who you are? The things you tell yourself about you experiences. Have you ever really thought about it? I hadn’t but have been reflecting on my story over the past few weeks. Here are my thoughts on our personal stories and a bit of my own story.
Finding inspiration
What inspires you to push yourself beyond what you think is possible? Is it books, films or music like it is for me? I’ve been wanting to run and today I took all that inspiration and pushed myself to run. Not far, but further than I have before. What could you do if you tried to push beyond the limits of what you think is possible?
Living with uncertainty
What started as a blog post about routine has become a post about uncertainty, funny that!
You can’t control the ocean. Sometimes you need to paddle out, and it can be hard, the waves hit you in the face and overwhelm you. But then sometimes you can catch an amazing wave and ride it back in towards the shore.
Shame, shame, shame
Why? Why did I think this? What’s the feeling behind this thought? See part of my mindset stuff is trying to acknowledge my thoughts and assess them – not be my thoughts and feelings, just observe them. So, what is this thought all about? And then I realised what it was. Shame.
